Alveo’s Callisto caters to young professionals
Both the young at age and heart will have something to look forward to as Alveo Land builds a two-tower condominium in the country’s latest premier entertainment district of Circuit Makati.
Dubbed “Callisto,” which came from the Greek word “Kalliste” or most beautiful, the residential area will have its first tower rise 38-storeys high with its own retail component on the lower and upper ground floor.
“We are looking at this as an ideal residence area for young professionals, because the Circuit area is very energetic, vibrant, and youthful. So, the entire area will give you the vibe that it indeed caters to young professionals,” said Alveo Land Project, Sales, and Marketing Group Head Rufino S. Gutierrez.
With its current attractions like a massive events area, thriving retail strip, and a black box theater in full operation, Circuit Makati has been true to its reputation as a growing entertainment and lifestyle destination since it was launched in 2012.
Gutierrez said that Alveo also brought the same vibrancy inside Callisto. It will have a roof deck and eight podium floors.
On the 9th floor, the two towers will have a shared amenity level featuring a 25-meter lap pool, three lounge pools, a kiddie pool, a game room, indoor gym, library, function room, board room, play area, lounge, and a lawn area.
An Ayala Land subsidiary, Alveo now has three main projects in Circuit Makati, including workspaces-for-sale The Stiles Enterprise Plaza and two-tower residential condominium Solstice.
While Callisto is set to rise beside its predecessor Solstice, the two will have several differing features.
“The main difference between the two developments is the unit mix. Solstice focuses more on big units such as one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, which make up approximately 78 percent of the total inventory, while Callisto Tower 1 is composed mostly of studio and one-bedroom units at a 76 percent unit mix,” Gutierrez explained.
Callisto Tower 1 will have a total of 430 residential units with a mix of studio (28 to 32 sqm), one-bedroom (56 to 65 sqm), two-bedroom (85 to 106 sqm), three-bedroom (122-214 sqm) and special three-bedroom (116 to 122 sqm) units.
Floor-to-ceiling heights for the living, dining, and bedroom areas are at 2.7 meters high, higher than the average height of typical residential units.
“Callisto and Solstice will then appeal to different market profiles. Since Callisto focuses on smaller units, it may appeal more towards younger professionals who aspire to have a first-mover advantage within Makati’s latest lifestyle destination, as well as early nesters looking for their first homes in the city,” Gutierrez added.
Callisto will also introduce special units called Investor Suites, which have a two-bedroom and a studio configuration separated by a foyer.
Future residents will be given the flexibility to use one unit and lease the other or even lease out both units, depending on their requirements.
With rising interest in the area, the developer is set to launch approximately one tower every year for the next 20 years right within Circuit Makati.
Callisto residences are priced at P135,000 to P140,000 per sqm. Typical units average at P4.3 million for studio units, P8.4 million for one-bedroom units, P12.3 million for two-bedroom units, and P17.1 million for Investor Suites.
Typical units are priced P135,000 per sqm. Callisto will begin turnover of units in July 2022.
